Every year, one of our pupils receives a North East Fife Police ‘Good Citizen Award’.
Before presenting the award at the Celebrating Success ceremony, PC Fisher explained the reasons behind the panel’s decision to give the accolade to Kieran this year.
As a pupil at the school for almost 8 years, Kieran has developed into a fine young man, often putting others before himself. He is highly regarded by staff and pupils, and has been a great ambassador for the school as well as being an excellent role model for the other pupils.
As he has gained in confidence over the years, Kieran has taken on leadership responsibilities that benefit the whole school. Taking on the ground care manager’s job requires dedication, gaining people’s respect and having good negotiating skills, all of which he does extremely well.
As one of the experienced peer supporters, Kieran has been involved in recruiting and training new members, as well as helping others to sort out any problems, should they seek support from the school’s peer support group.
Congratulations, Kieran, on this well deserved recognition!
